The Walnut Tree, Yalding

The Walnut Tree in Yalding is a beautiful country pub with exposed beams and open fires. Built in 1492, the same year in which Christopher Columbus set sail from Spain and discovered America, The Walnut Tree was a former Yeoman’s House and the started its life as a beer house in the nineteenth century.

They serve a variety of beers & ales alongside traditional pub food, including a roast every Sunday. 

​

They are dog friendly, with some beautiful countryside walks right on their doorstep. Situated in the middle of a fantastic village community, Yalding is home to the longest medieval bridge in Kent.
